Privacy Policy for Filaya

Filaya Languages (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect and use data when you use the Filaya application.

1. Data We Collect

• Account Data: If you create an account to permanently save your progress, we collect your email address and an encrypted password via Google Firebase Authentication.
• Microphone and Audio Data: Our application requests access to your device’s microphone (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO) strictly to enable the “Speaking Practice” feature. The audio file is saved locally on your personal device and is never transmitted, uploaded, or shared to our servers or any third-party services.
• Analytics Data: We collect basic, anonymized usage telemetry (e.g., crash reports, lesson completion rates) to improve the app experience. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

2. Third-Party Services

We use RevenueCat to process in-app purchases. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card information; all payments are processed securely by your device’s native app store (Apple or Google).

3. Data Deletion

You retain full control over your data. You may permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly from within the “Settings” screen of the application.
